How can we ensure proper protection of wiring harnesses during transport?
Due to the harsh marine environment and significant temperature fluctuations between day and night during ocean transport, humidity levels inside shipping containers are extremely high, making moisture protection a top priority in ocean shipping.
Moisture protection measures: At JinHai, wiring harnesses are packaged in cardboard boxes,
- Internal moisture protection: Two types of moisture-proofing are available—PE bags and aluminum foil bags (the specific method is designated or provided by the customer). Additionally, depending on the duration of the sea voyage, each box contains 3–5 packets of desiccant to aid in moisture protection.
- External moisture protection: Once the finished products are packaged, stretch film is used for secondary external protection, after which they are placed on pallets awaiting shipment.
How to Handle Quality Issues or Returns ？
At JinHai, if a quality issue arises with a shipped product, we generally handle it in one of the following three ways:
- If the product cannot be repaired, JinHai will directly send the customer a replacement of a qualified product to replace the defective one;
- If the product is repairable, JinHai will consult with the customer and coordinate with a third-party service provider approved by the customer to handle the issue, with JinHai covering the associated costs;
- For standard orders, JinHai will provide the customer with complimentary products equivalent to 0.1% of the order value for future maintenance or replacement purposes.
Can you provide samples before mass production?
Of course, JinHai can provide you with samples.
Is there a charge for the sample?
JinHai offers two options for you to choose from.
- Simple, low-value samples: If you are 100% committed to working with JinHai (typically, you have already provided detailed drawings, specified the required quantity, and set a delivery schedule), we will charge 50% of the standard price for the sample, and we promise to deduct this sample fee from the payment when we receive a subsequent bulk order;
- Complex and high-value samples: If your product involves hundreds of circuits and features special connectors or expensive shielding, we will charge the standard sample fee. Upon final settlement, we will refund the sample fee based on the order volume, typically at a rate of 50% to 100% of the original sample fee.
How long will it take to ship the samples you’ve produced?
Once JinHai receives a sample request, we will complete the sample production within 1–3 weeks and ship it to your location via international express delivery.
