How can we ensure proper protection of wiring harnesses during transportation?
Due to the harsh maritime environment during ocean transport, extremely high external humidity, and significant nighttime temperature fluctuations, moisture prevention is critical to maintaining low humidity inside shipping containers.
- Moisture Prevention Measures: At JinHai, wire harnesses are packaged in cardboard boxes.
- Internal moisture protection: Two methods are employed—PE bags and aluminum foil bags (specific method determined by customer specification or provision)—with three desiccant packets per box for supplementary moisture control.
- External moisture protection: After final packaging, products are placed on pallets for shipment. Prior to dispatch, goods on pallets undergo secondary protection with stretch wrap.
How to Handle Quality Issues or Returns
At JinHai, if shipped goods develop quality issues, we generally handle them through the following three approaches:
- If the product is irreparable, JinHai will directly reship a replacement to the customer;
- If the product is repairable, JinHai will coordinate with the customer to arrange for a third-party service provider approved by the customer to handle the repair, with costs borne by JinHai;
- For standard orders, JinHai provides complimentary products equivalent to 0.1% of the order value for future maintenance or replacements.
Can samples be provided before mass production?
Certainly, JinHai can provide you with samples.
Is there a charge for samples?
JinHai offers two options for your consideration.
- Simple, low-value samples: If you express a strong desire to collaborate with JinHai (typically when you’ve provided detailed drawings, specified quantity requirements, and a delivery schedule), we charge 50% of the standard sample price. We commit to deducting this sample cost from the payment when you place a subsequent bulk order.
- C○ Complex and high-value samples: If your product involves hundreds of circuits and features specialized connectors or expensive shielding layers, we will charge the standard sample fee before order placement. Upon final payment settlement, we will refund the sample fee based on order volume, typically at a rate of 50%-100% of the original sample cost. However, customers are responsible for shipping costs.
Sample Lead Time
Upon receiving your sample request, JinHai will complete sample production within 1-3 weeks and ship them to your location via international express delivery.
