DisplayPort cable assemblies are primarily used to connect video sources to display devices, such as computer monitors, while also transmitting audio, USB, and other types of data. DisplayPort cable assemblies are designed to replace VGA, FPD-Link, and Digital Visual Interface (DVI).
Is HDMI or DisplayPort better?
DisplayPort (DP) and HDMI are not inherently “better” than each other.
